Gilson Lifetime Warranty



	We are so confident in the robustness, accuracy and precision of our Pipetman, we now provide a Gilson Lifetime Warranty that can last the entire lifetime of the pipette. Pipettes that are purchased from Gilson, or our approved Seal of Assurance partner Scientific Laboratory Supplies (SLS), and serviced annually at Gilson’s UK Service Centre of Excellence are covered under the programme.Customers who register will also gain access to our exclusive Gilson Lifetime Warranty members’ centre which gives you a wealth of technical, application and service advice, as well as special offers and discounts.

How it works

All Gilson pipettes come with a 12 month warranty against defects in material as standard from the date they were
purchased. However Gilson now provide UK customers with a lifetime warranty on selected Pipetman models purchased
from Gilson or our Seal of Assurance partner SLS. Customers must simply register their pipettes and ensure it is serviced
annually in accordance to the manufacturer’s specifications at the UK Gilson Service Centre of Excellence.

What is covered

The Gilson Lifetime Warranty
• is applicable to all newly purchased single channel, manual Pipetman Classic, Pipetman Neo and Pipetman G pipettes;
bought within the UK from Gilson, or our Seal of Assurance partner, from 1 September 2011;
• includes all parts and labour for all product failures;
• includes all parts used during the annual service.

What is not covered

• Pipettes not purchased from Gilson or our Seal of Assurance partner SLS;
•Pipettes serviced by any other third party service company;
• Incidental damage resulting from physical shock, continuous exposure to corrosive reagents or mishandling and misuse
in accordance with the guidelines as described in the user’s manual;
• The labour cost of the annual service.

What do I have to do next?
	Register your Pipetman immediately to start your lifetime warranty. Where did you purchase your pipetman from?	You can also return your warranty card sent within the Pipetman box or call our service team on 0845 519 6872.

	Your Pipetman must be serviced annually at the UK Gilson Service Centre of Excellence to validate and maintain the warranty for the lifetime of the pipette. By registering, we can contact you when your annual inspection is due and arrange a service effortlessly.
